This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply project management skills and knowledge in a variety of contexts, across several industry sectors. The job roles that relate to this qualification may include Project Manager and Project Team Leader.

Individuals in these roles have project leadership and management roles and are responsible for achieving project objectives. They possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical, and managerial competencies to initiate, plan, execute and evaluate their own work and/or the work of others.

This qualification will be delivered 14 hours face to face per week in the campus and 6 hours online. Total duration is 52 weeks. This includes 40 weeks of training and assessment spread over 5 terms (The first term is 6-week long and last term 4-week long. The other 3 terms are 10-week long). 12 weeks of holidays are spread over 4 terms breaks.

  • Off-shore student, who have passed Australian Year 12 or equivalent school studies, who may have little or no vocational experience, but who possess learning skills and knowledge that they would use to develop project management skills.
  • Students holding Certificates/other qualifications in project management or relevant areas or/and having previous experience in project management positions or related professions and are interested in developing their project management knowledge and skills. CCMT will provide RPL/Credit for eligible student for specific units in this qualification on a case-to-case basis and then place the student in suitable term, if available.

Project leader/team leader, Project manager (industry specific), Project vendor manager, etc.

Students who complete this course may pursue other higher qualifications.
