Course Description

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.

Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements.

They may plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.

Beside general entry requirements, student must have Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions) or two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.

This qualification will be delivered 14 hours face to face per week in the campus and 6 hours online. Total duration is 52 weeks. This includes 40 weeks of training and assessment spread over 5 terms (The first term is 6-week long and last term 4-week long. The other 3 terms are 10-week long). 12 weeks of holidays are spread over 4 terms breaks.

The BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management requires successful completion of 5 core unit and 5 elective units.

The costs for this course are as follows:

Tuition fees: AUD $10,000
Materials Fees: AUD $250 
Total Course Fee: AUD $10,500

The study materials are provided to students by Canberra College of Management and Technology and are included in total course fees.

  • Onshore/offshore international students holding a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions)
  • Applicants who Have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.
  • Students holding relevant qualifications in management or other areas or/and having more than 2 years of experience in leadership & management positions or related professions and are interested in developing their leadership & management knowledge and skills. CCMT will provide RPL/Credit for eligible student for specific units in this qualification on a case-to-case basis and then place the student in suitable term, if available.
