General Entry Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of submission of application.
- Must provide proof of completed Australian Year 12 or equivalent school studies or other higher qualifications.
- Must submit results of IELTS with at least 5.5 overall score, or equivalent results in other English proficiency tests like PTE, TOEFL, etc. For further details, please refer to the Department of Home Affairs website on Acceptable English Tests and Exemptions*.
- Pass the Language, Literacy and Numeracy Test (LLN, for details visit student handbook). `{`This test is not required for applicants for BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management, ICT60220 Advanced Diploma of Information Technology, or BSB80120 Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) as they have their own entry requirements. Cheque specific entry requirements of the particular courses. LLN test will be waived if student has successfully completed 6 months of study in an Australian institute within last 2 years`}`
- Must go through Course Entry Interview to demonstrate student’s suitability for the intended course (career goals, reasons for studying the course, special needs, etc)
- International Students must meet the Student Visa (SC500) requirements.

*International Students may not be required to provide evidence of scores in English Language Test where documented evidence can be provided to demonstrate any of the following:
- Students who have completed at least five years’ study in one or more of the following countries: Australia, UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, or the Republic of Ireland
- Citizens and passport holders of one of the following English‑speaking countries: UK, USA, Canada, NZ or Republic of Ireland
- Students who have successfully completed in Australia in the English language either the Senior Secondary Certificate of Education or 50% of the units of a Certificate IV or higher-level course, in the two years before applying for the student visa.
Acceptable English Test Score
Where evidence of English Language is required, the following minimum English language test score from the following providers will be accepted:

The test must have been taken no more than two years before the student visa application is made.
Where our online application system indicates that documentary evidence of English language proficiency is required, it is important for you to attach these documents to your visa application before lodging your application. Failure to do so may result in visa refusal.
