Course Description
This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of information and communications technology (ICT) roles who have significant experience in specialist technical skills, or managerial business and people management skills.
Individuals in these roles carry out complex tasks in a specialist field, working independently, leading a team or a strategic direction of a business. They apply their skills across a wide range of industries and business functions, or as a business owner (sole trader/contractor).
ICT60220 – Advance Diploma of Information Technology

This qualification will be delivered 14 hours face to face per week in the campus and 6 hours online. Total duration is 52 weeks. This includes 40 weeks of training and assessment spread over 5 terms (The first and last terms are 5-week long. The other 3 terms are 10-week long). 12 weeks of holidays are spread over 4 term breaks.
The ICT60220 Advanced Diploma of Information Technology requires the completion of 6 core and 10 elective units. Electives for this qualification have been chosen by Canberra College of Management and Technology to ensure that students achieve a broad range of skills and knowledge in IT.

The study materials are provided to students by Canberra College of Management and Technology and are included in total course fees.
- Onshore and Offshore International Students who hold ICT50220 Diploma of Information Technology or equivalent qualifications.
- Holders of Certificates/other qualifications in IT, or/and who may have previous work experience in IT or in related profession overseas/onshore and are interested in developing their IT knowledge and skills. CCMT will provide RPL/Credit for eligible student for specific units of this qualification on a case-to-case basis and then place the student in suitable term, if available.
